Interestingly, the Foo Fighters are to stream a live gig through Facebook this weekend.
For the UK SEO’s out there it’s all taking place at 2am Sunday morning so for those who may be returning from a good night out can switch on their computers and watch the Foo’s whilst commenting on the new Facebook pictures from the night out.
It is interesting just how bands are using social media to get through to their fans. Not too long ago U2 streamed a live gig through YouTube and it must also be noted that they have a virtual band in Second Life although that has been done by a group of U2 fans.
I shall try and catch the Foo Fighters gig, but since it’s Halloween that day I shall be off to a party that night so chances are slim… sadly
